Slider offers technology-assisted consultation, engagement and participatory design facilitation services for clients, communities and project stakeholders of all ages.

Our engagement team works with a variety of tools and approaches to engage, educate and explore built environment projects with clients and their wider community stakeholders. We combine the use of hands on analogue engagement methods with online collaboration tools, panoramic photography and 3D virtual environments to help bridge the gap between professional design problems and community understanding, opening up two way continuous dialogue. Our methods and tools are particularly suitable for young people and engaging hard to reach groups.
Our engagement strategies leverage the power of web platforms to develop lasting project portals that offer multiple entry points to different stakeholders throughout the design process, turning traditionally closed design processes into transparent and accessible activity. The result of our work is a continuously updateable resource of neighbourhood knowledge, offering a valuable contribution to a project brief, adoptable by future appointed design teams.
Our team works for other architects, public and private sector clients, schools and community groups. We also support Slider’s own architectural projects with these tools and methods.
