Mæ architects approached us requesting a site capacity study for Lakehouse on their Manor Road site in North London. Mæ had prepared urban design and house type strategies, and asked that the study should focus on exploring variations in tenure mix with a view to finding a solution that was robust enough to meet subtly changing development economics. We generated a series of 3D models, constrained to Mæ’s established urban diagram and using their ISE house types. Working in close collaboration with the design architect, we were able to respond promptly to requested design changes, feeding back the resulting metric data alongside 3D visualisations.
