We take our responsibility to our users very seriously and always want to hear your views about what we’re doing. While we cannot guarantee that we will take every concern into account immediately, we will work to include the issues raised in updates to our site.
Text
We write our content in plain, clear English which is appropriate to our subject matter.
Most modern browsers have an option to increase the size of viewable text. This is generally located in the top toolbar of your browser under the ‘View’ option. You can also use the CTRL key with the ‘+’ plus key (to make text larger) or the ‘-’ minus key (to make text smaller)
Layout
We pay attention to good contrast and, particularly, legibility. Our site is designed to be easy to read through our use of colour and typography.
Images
We describe all images appropriately using Alt text for those using assistive software or text browsers.
We comply with web standards in all our websites, except in specific cases where we feel that not doing so provides a better experience for all users.
We won’t get everything right first time! Moving our site has been a big task and we are bound to have overlooked some details along the way. But we are committed to making our site as accessible as we can, so please let us know how the site could be improved for you.
